The YouTurbo app was developed primarily for mobile devices (Smartphones) and was created by HeYou Games. The creators are based in Madrid in Spain and they came up with the idea of building games specifically for YouTube users in the same way that app developers have created games specially for Facebook. Their plans didn't go quite right which is why the game is now a Smartphone app.
Their First And Last YouTube Game
Sadly for the developers of YouTurbo the social media website YouTube was bought by Google and they decided not to add an interactive gaming function to YouTube which is why this game is now only available on Smartphones. The game features puzzles that allow you to unlock weapons and vehicles that you may race with. The idea is that you record yourself playing the game on YouTube. If interactive gaming were allowed on YouTube you may have then raced against other YouTurbo players but as it stands you may only race against the game's NPC character. The game is a side-scrolling racing game where you are able to play ten levels on the demo version.
Okay But Not Great
The side scrolling racing side of the game is weird and rather basic. The graphics help to redeem YouTurbo a little as does the physics engine that control the car's descent and movement through the air. Otherwise the game is weird in a good way such as how your car may fight a big floating person. The game is ultimately forgettable.
